Stephanie Prevics

Stephanie PrevicsStephanie is currently a fourth-year Health and Society major at Beloit College in Beloit, Wisconsin. Upon graduation, she hopes to enter a Masters of Science program as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Stephanie's desire to pursue a career in nursing is directly influenced by a previous internship in Arizona, where she was exposed to the unique barriers that impact medically-underserved populations along the U.S.-Mexican border. In the past year, Stephanie has studied--and conducted research on--the importance of health literacy and patient-provider communication in a community health setting. She is excited to bring this experience, along with the use of community-based participatory research, to the Dequenesh team!
