Community Partnerships
On January 2, 2006 we began a collaboration with Clinica Amistad y Salud, Pima County Natural Resources and the City of South Tucson providing acute and chronic disease management, screenings, preventative services, physical examinations and immunizations in South Tucson.
More recently our community partner has been the Primavera Foundation. In April 2007 we were invited to join them at Casa Paloma, a.k.a. “the Pink House.” The Pink House is open to un-accompanied women for bathing, laundry, food and refuge. Simply put the Pink House provides refuge for homeless women and the mobile clinic provides access to a continuum of services: primary healthcare, TB skin tests, Reikei and Shiatsu massage as well as herbal remedies.
For the past three years, we have partnered with the Pueblo High School women’s cross country team providing free sports physicals, health education, and fitness consultation.
