Our Wellness UnitThe Dequenesh Community Clinic uses a wellness model draws upon the best of conventional medicine, complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) emphasizing healing and prevention rather than disease. CAM is a category of medicine that uses a multidisciplinary approach to medicine.

It is designed to provide the maximum therapeutic benefit by accessing the shared knowledge of a variety of allopathic and alternative practitioners. One of the core principles in CAM is to address the body, mind and spirit of the patient and treating the source of the illness instead of the symptoms.The Dequenesh Community Health Clinic provides primary care, well-woman care and basic urgent care services to uninsured, under-insured and the working poor.
